Her body suffered cold, sickness and pain. Eventually she died. However, her father, the King, always knew that the Princess' soul would return, perhaps in another body, in another place, at another time. And he would wait for her, until he drew his last breath, until the world stopped turning..."
"Pan's Labyrinth" One of the most beautiful films ever made. This movie won 3 Oscars and 68 other awards and about 70 other nominations. It is truly a work of art. I can't even describe how amazing, beautiful, and captivating this movie is. It has everything you can think of. The acting is phenomenal, the scenes are breathtaking and the lines are so memorable and quoteworthy. Sometimes its scary, other times sad, other times blood-curling and other times just plain beautiful. It will always be one of my favorite movies of all time. If you have not watch this I don't even know what to say to you- you have missed out on one of the most enchanting horror/dark fairytales ever.

"...because it is in pain that we find the meaning of life..."
By the way, this movie is by Guillermo del Torro (Spain) with english subtitles. If you have watched this movie and you enjoyed it then you must also watch "The Orphanage" by the one and only Guillermo Del Torro. Another truly beautiful film.
