Colegio Santa Ana

Its funny how we forget so many of the things we learned in school, yet some memories always remain. I can't remember exactly what I learned in first, second or third grade but I can remember my friends, my teachers, my classmates, the classrooms, the courtyard and even the hallways. This was my school in Quisqueya and I feel so blessed that my friend found this picture in its basement and scanned it. The nostalgia I experienced going through her album in Facebook was indescribable. And even though I attended this school only for three years of my life it will always remain the most beautiful school I have ever laid eyes on. I guess it wasn't just in my memories that it was beautiful- these pictures have proved me right. And even though this little or rather I say large school has been painted in every pastel color you can imagine, it is always the same color in my heart.

please come fast. I need your shades of green around me, your fresh scent of flowers, and your murky warm air. I don't care if I must wear my hair up, and everyone around me is sweating, I want to feel warm, so warm all I want is water, I want to hear the songs of crickets and cicadas as I take walks in the warm summer dusk. Just please come say hello to nyc and stay for as long as you want, but please come fast and stay a while.

pretty little red facts

I found the cutest little red camera or whatever those ^ are called with slides from Disney movies in a wholesale store and I should have bought it even if it was to keep for my daughter :/ oh wells. oh and I have found the cutest red flats which I have added to my wishlist because with this wedding I might not be able to buy anything I don't need. But I really do think I need them? Wouldn't you? :(

pretty in pink, your house that is

So as most of you guys know, I'm getting married and of course that brings in looking for a place to live. And I think, a pretty little pink house will do just fine. What do you think? Okay fine, I'll admit, as cute as it may look, I will find myself sick of the color by the next day, and I don't think the mister will be to happy in there hehe. However, it sure is pretty to look at, from a neighbor's point of view ;) So dear future neighbor, paint your house pink so that I can look at it and take pretty pictures by it, thank you :)

Okay okay, I know, Catherine Middleton looked absolutely gorgeous in her dress. But I'm not going to post on that, not only because thousands of others blogs have so and theres no reason on me to repeat history, but because seriously someone had to do a post of these tiny little beauties. Come on, look at that face! Apart from maybe being a bit overtired, how adorable did these little girls look waving to the public? Ah that face! Eliza Lopes (who by the way can be one of Angelina's and Brad Pitt's daughter just saying) along with all the other bridesmaids looked absolutely adorable. I thought it was so sweet for Prince William and Katherine Middletown (or should I now say Princess Katherine?) to choose all her bridesmaids to be young girls. I myself, will not only be having one flowergirl but three, and if it was up to me I wanted even more, however there are no other age-appropriate girls that I know :(.
