honeymoon in Quisqueya la bella

As most of you guys know, my honeymoon will also take place in the Dominican Republic. Me and the fiancee have been searching for that perfect place and boy are there many! We are in between a few in Punta Cana or Cayo Levantado Samana. Among them there is one where the pool goes all around the resort which means that when you step out of your own balcony you can jump in the pool. How cool is that? This is a five star luxury adult-only resort which means its all about relaxation, tranquility and the best service, not to mention stunning views since it is located on one of the best islands in the Caribbean. I just can't wait to soak up all that tropical warmth with the mister in the comfort of my own hammock- Yeap, every suite balcony has one! The best thing? All these are completely affordable. Ahhh someone pinch me please!

I don't know if I should be more excited about the wedding or the honeymoon. I think its hard to choose, wouldn't you?

I'm engaged and dateless

Yes, you read the title right- I am engaged yet I am dateless for Valentines. I was not going to post anything for our fabled Valentine's Day but Eliza's heart-pouring post inspired me, for I see now I was not the only one.

You see, I thought somehow, regardless of my countless unsuccessful Valentines days in the past, or lets rephrase that, countless dateless Valentines days, I thought this one would be different. You see, in my past relationships I always managed to break up or be single during special occasions. I was not only afraid of commitment but I felt I never had the "right" guy to spend holidays or special occasions with. Now that I am engaged, with a wonderful man I thought I would finally have the Valentines I have always read about. Last year didn't go so well,  I was under the weather and we decided to stay in. And now, well now... nothing happened. And everything that did happen, did not go so well. And what makes everything less comforting is when I read the countless of "Best Valentines Ever" status on Facebook and stories on blogger. But regardless of it all, I am still in love, I'm healthy and I'm happy. My mister is at work, and we have many years to come to aim for that "perfect valentines," and if not we got the rest of the days of the year ^_^

zsa zsa zsu

Doesn't this picture make you want to pull all your hair up in a bun and cut your bangs? I don't know about you but I find it just so cute that it makes me want to cut my bangs again even when I know it will only be a few hours after I regret it. Bangs are such a hassle, always getting in my eyes, I have to wash them about every other day or otherwise they look untidy and unclean :/  Oh yes and not to mention, the mister is not a big fan of them. He made me grow them out because he says he likes to see my beautiful face, how could you say no to that? He's the only one that has made me feel all Zsa Zsa Zsu 

And yes ladies and gentleman (if there are any guys out there that actually read my blog), I dare inform you that Zsa Zsa Zsu as described by Carrie (Sex and the City) as the "feeling you get when you meet someone you really really like, that sort of lovey, butterflies feeling when you just want to be with someone" has actually been added to the Urban Dictionary ;)
